Robotics industry use cellphone brain driving nand solenoid movement?

Cellphones now have all the functions for use as a robotic brain, can communicate with people.

Cellphones can use virtual wifi network in nand flash memory, which can drive robotic movements with nand to solenoid.

This gives the robotic industry needed infrastructure and scalable components.

New cellphones are build on arm cpu(5 ghz for 802ac) and nand memory with virtual network, no more isa, pci and ethernet buses only usb.

Expected wifi speed is 1 gbps external and internal communication speed.

Robots need a data center as a brain. Cellphone using nand memory can be programed to recognize(by camera) people or objects.

Solenoid can move fingers to grab and move small objects, which is the main purpose of using robots.

So far, most robots are not useful, if not self propelled, or it has to be fed the object it can work on.

The new design of cellphone can use android linux software. But many software codes are striped off.

semiconductor circuits are connected by wifi(edgeqam packets) on antenna not aluminum or copper wires.

This prevents overheating if current has to turn corners.

ROBOTICS are used mostly in the agriculture industry by gps to plant and seed then harvest by combine. They also now using drone(fly by gps) with camera to look at crop such as grapes for yield(near infrared pictures). MIT technology review has the details.

These control of vehicles can use cellphone as the brain(even android software at that). So, I am starting a thread to discuss how.

New cellphone design is simplified to ARM cpu, nand virtual networks(wifi and/or 3/4g) and usb bus. No more PC structures which are too slow.

The future of robotics replacing manufacturing labor pool comes with the paperless society sooner than later.

Drones are not practical to make delivery of goods, unless you can retain ownership and get drone back.

But overhead shots by camera is good tool.

Other uses of drones may come up in military applications.

Google is investing in hardware that could use android tablet as brain.

One can not avoid to see the potential technology linkage. GPS, MAPS and other software in Android linux OS.

The nand flash virtual  wifi network (for digital  camera) is great to control solenoid.  Robots can move.

Many app stores can be searched. For robotic  apps beyond gps map face recognition.

Android apps(OVER 100K STRONG) are available for robotic application, if it can recognize things, or make decisions to do things with them.

Android also have a lot of software for PC in its Linux kernels, which is no longer needed if data bus is only usb. Or memory is in nand flash, data does not depend on power to retain.

Communications also must have virtual network wifi in nand flash. Software function can be updated in a later date.

These requirements are used to design android cellphone as the brain of a robot.

Robots by computer started with walking model(in Japan). MIT did more in human recognition and speech response.

Then agricultural production use GPS to program ganged planting and harvesting by 6 combines.

Now work is done by toy industry for dolls driven by phones then use wifi virtual network solenoids to program  moves.

MIT technology review has an article on ready robots. Its a state of the art article.

Its not quite ready to use cellphones or Android as robotic brain yet.

But discussing apps can qualify robotic needs such as GPS, face recognition, object recognition, movements by solenoids, task objectives, etc.

Robotic design is still more questions than answers until cell phone brain and movement actuator is built on infrastructure available.

Robotics in agriculture production has answered all the needs.

Robotics at home is only available as vacuum cleaners.

CableTV business may eventually find use of data centers to offer robotics to do chores as needed. Such as cooking while you are away. Slow cooker or microwave programmed. Easy to do baking too. Several dishes ready before you get home.
