Android javascript/linux bug fixed Gnu/linux by cloud computing ?

After many years of compiling linux kernels with GNU gcc, too many file names created too many bugs. symlinks had to be blacklisted by the filesystems. File switching accumulated too many bugs galore.

Along came Android/linux; booted a browser(javascript with c compiled functions) doing packet switching with dotnet packets. Javascript is not confusing, and bugs are none existent. Internet language is icons made up of Java beans.

This made linux kernels not important for disk operating system. Ethernet codes are substituted by cellphone dialer. WiFi/g can be instantly dhcp by radio to gateway router connection like a dialer. Packets are posix hdmi, no longer dotnet for vga. Virtual disks on servers only need a few java commands. It will be a shame to call it linux when kernels are not being used, when no linux file names are called out.

Because javascript is supported by c compiler modules for speed, the operating system is not really java. Ajax maybe.

Why netbooks and laptops will fall off the cliff, its a total change of computer hardware and software design since the adoption of DTV by the US government in year 2007.

Mpeg4/h.264 for hdmi connection changes the speed of video transmission and simplified hardware design. Reduced pixels by jpeg improved speed even more.

TV radio transmission technology made data channels abundant for massive parallel computing.

We will never look back again at the old ways of doing computing by the isolated standalone desktops. Tablets(radio telephony) are designed differently for internet today.

When we examine the chromebooks, the hardware is still netbook demo circuit from Intel, and the cost is high. If the chromebook is designed with ARM cpu, it will be much cheaper with similar performance.

Java interpreter has very little overhead for browser. C compiled binary for javascript can be few if any when you use them in webpages. Gears of ajax can be cumbersome to work with many webpages of realtime packets. Gears can give us bugs galore again, trying to satisfy many newer webpages not confined to gear functions.

The concept of file switching is more efficient if kernels are micro, such as QNX. In monolithic kernels that you can predict the next function, your library(overhead) is huge when you strip down to tiny linux.

A browser operating system of texted webpages is only 4Kb(prex0.4) if you use cellphone. QNX demo text browser operating system using dialup external modem is only 1.44 mB. then you can substitute Dillo with mpeg4/h.264 to have an ansi color graphics webpage with drag and drop feature(instead of active-x or html).

As we march towards efficient browser operating system, we have to rethink how operating system works.

Drag and drop feature by the pixels defined of a webpage can span across many servers borrowing small pictures(thumbnails) to fit into your webpage across the internet. Twitter is already doing this with many thumbnails drag from their many servers(not yet pixel defined). Drag and drop uses mouse or fingers on touch screen to define the pixel locations(defining two points or two pixels of an indexed square or rectangle). html and active-x directory uses language to define pixel locations.

Basically, a browser operating system is a workspace for webpages, and a toolbar to download the webpage from a website. And also download your email on webpages which can collect all your other email addresses on the internet as well.

So, you dial the internet gateway router on your cellphone or WiFi free hotspot. Once connected, you can launch your browser by portal, or any webpage that you have to do a task(paying bills from your bank, etc.).

An efficient browser operating system can use a tablet hardware that can connect by wireless radio. It has a browser(mpeg4/h.264 that can be displayed by TV screen of horizontal and vertical frequencies for a 720p or 1080p hdmi format 16:9 high definition resolution). Lower cost is the reason not using disk operating system, and video processors to display inefficient digital video protocols(vga, svga, xga, sxga etc.). Everything taken is on the internet, keyboard and mouse is on the touch screen.
