Cloud computing the easy way ? WiFi connections the easy way ? Plan9

IT People in the data business got so much legacy protocol that they lost sight of the display which monitors the data.

Cloud computing is just a conversion of workgroup desktop workspace displayed into webpage workspace. The two data is really the same data.

When you desire all thing virtual. Microsoft came up with wifi virtual network. Now working on wifi traffic control which includes gears or offline preparation of data to send before wifi traffic has the opportunity to transfer.

These new technology is only a packet converter away from success.

So we are expecting virtual network in all the operating system, then add packet converter servers in data centers to send desktop app work space to webpage work spaces.

It will not take 2 years to change private networks to public cloud network, just add banks of packet converters to each desktop app for cloud computing virtual wifi network data transfer on demand.

Re: Cloud computing the easy way ? WiFi connections the easy way ? Plan9

If you think that we have been extending windows to make cloud and wifi easier, just learn to buy orinoco wifi cards and install v7.82 drivers. Use older versions of Firefox for cloud(w95/98 use version 1.5.0.12)

Now, we have done something for Linux operating system. Its also easy to use Ubuntu 8.04 with orinoco_cs drivers. Buy them orinoco wifi cards cheap and get great download speeds upto 600 kBps(ubuntu arm is 2 gB download). But only last few days Firefox was able to autoupdate the v3.6 used by Ubuntu 8.04. Now we can use ubuntu for a longer time on the cloud. Ubuntu has to update the Firefox though.

Cloud computing is basically browser operating system which has to be written for a platform. X86, etc. and now ARM cpu(s).

The probelms of browsers for Linux is that Linux is basically x86(i386 to i686). The browser has to be i386 to be used in every Linux distro. If it is written for i686 then many older hardware can not use that version of browser.

For ARM platform Firefox has to go back to v1.5.0.12(i386). Then add the latest codec to fit the online banking standards. Add openGL for games video acceleration. Add html5 when the standard is approved.

It is becoming apparent that Unix packets are becoming operating system by its own right.

Webpages are the apps and games. WebGL is the graphics codes. Realtime scripts run the operating systems.

Can you use cpu, memory in different computers to run a supercomputer? Maybe Bell Labs plan9 operating system is being built in webpages?

Re: Cloud computing the easy way ? WiFi connections the easy way ? Plan9

WiFi the easy way is all in the drivers that can connect to passphrase(password).

Many pcmcia 802/b wifi devices are no longer usable on CableTV wifi routers and operating system that demand fast speed connection(1 mbps became limited, 50 mbps is the new speed).

Some usable wifi brands are ehome(101) dlink(dwa-642)  /g and /n devices to make your life easier to connect to the wifi internet.

USB wifi is usable quite well, their drivers are very large around 30 mB.

Ralink and Realtek both works good in /g /n.

XP startup can get them connected when you launch browser.

Bigdata webpages use scripts to wifi links to summarize your list of interested data from links.

So scripts are fairly simple, just  wifi packets to gether link info?

Scripts to send wifi packets is the webpage operating system. for the webpage application?

The easy wifi method is to use pcmcia or usb wifi to replace older pci wifi installed in the computer.

The wifi drivers will be new and make life easy to use wifi even remote wifi at hotspot to download data from your home wifi system.

While wifi drivers are now bigger and faster to connect, it is the cable modem job assignment that is the most obvious improvements.

It has less denial of service. It does improve by software reprogram at the cable plant.

Re: Cloud computing the easy way ? WiFi connections the easy way ? Plan9

Internet makes search engines to share information. then maps to navigate and find business to goto.

This has been cloud computing but you have to find the many links innsearch engines to get all the information.

bigdata webpage can find all the links and information for you at one glance. it makes cloud computing easy.

Linux maybe free, but you don't get many links in one webpage. Linux is obsolete for daily life.

You can google a list of best phone applications and see what cloud computing is all about? Some of the list is just bigdata webpage, you can use it on your old laptops. Other applications(about 5 mB) do its search and provide you with what info you wanted on many links.
