We have very limited interest on austrumi as an operating system. Livecd while never corruption of data, does not resume on last session. To resume on last session, Austrumi has to have the ability to write on cdr or cdrw with track at once(like Puppy). Even Knoppix livecd did not have this convenience.
So, people will try to install on hdd, with the problems of many grub solutions.
Then the choice of liveUSB drives can compromise all the bad grub features with simplicity to update with last session data storage. Many browsers now have last session resumed to keep you informed of your activities. But they all do it wrong by last webpage page resumed, not display of history of last session and its activity on each website.
By getting Austrumi to resume from last session with all its history displayed, we might get more people interested with its convenience of use on USB drives. Great for using public computers too.
In the mean time, we hope to attract more users to this website, and get classified commerce a try.
What will resume session do for you?
It reminds you of what happened, so that you can decide what to do today. If you made any mistakes, you can correct before you went too far. Is mistakes the costliest problem in your life, you bet.
In the new tablet design, it can be broken up into all replaceable parts. The display of the tablet can be thrown away. Just buy a new display and plug in the old USB cpu and memory. If that broke, just plug in a new cpu and memory and download from your own terabyte hdd all the data you need.
So, it is all the way you live your life. Everything will be recorded in your terabyte hdd, and displayed on your own tablet. For the tablet to work all your 10,000 years of life, you will need a tablet that never obsolete. Each part in the tablet can be disassembled and replaced by interchangeable parts.
How do you like that to simplify your life?
